Our overriding concern is for the well being of all of our patients and team. Tonight we have received guidance from the Chief Dental Officer for Scotland that does limit some of the procedures that we can offer at the practice until further notice.
- if you feel unwell, have an elevated temperature any signs of cold or flu like symptoms,
- or If anyone in your immediate family circle has cold or flu like symptoms or coronavirus
- Please call the team and reschedule your visit.
We are however still your first point of contact for all dental problems and your routine exam or combined visits will proceed as planned unless the team are in touch with you.
At your next appointment – Social Distancing & Hand Hygiene
- Please use the hand sanitiser just inside the main doorway at reception on entering and leaving the building.
- Please forgive us if we don’t shake hands – but we are however happy to use any of the other greetings – just ask!
- You’ll notice that we’ve removed some non-essential items in the reception area including the magazines. They will return once this is all over!
Please be assured that our in surgery infection control routines have not needed to change significantly in light of the Coronavirus because they were already stringent and applied for every patient. I am confident in the professionalism of our team and that you will as always, be looked after to the highest standards while you are with us. In the non clinical areas of the practice we have put in place a raft of additional regular environmental cleaning and disinfection measures to minimise the risks to you as a patient and to the team.
As a team, we are doing everything we possibly can to remain fit, well and able to work so that we can continue to provide our usual high standard of dental care for you. Thank you for your support in keeping everyone safe.
With best wishes,
Melissa, Connor, Rose, Joanne & The Team at EH Dental
Finally, please do take a moment and consider if there are any elderly or frail, friends, neighbours or family members who may be more isolated or need additional support as a result of current events.
